What is this check?​

The MX Records are DNS entries that tell email services where your mail is to be directed to, this check monitors these for any changes.

Why is this important?​

If someone gains control of your MX Records, they can redirect the email to their own servers, meaning any 2FA, recovery, sales or customer emails will go to their server rather than yours.

If you aren't monitoring for this issue, it can be a while and a long way down the checklist before you notice something has gone wrong.
